Looking for

great options / choices
good lines
higher limits, at least a $ 500 maximum
obviously a reliable / solid book

Maybe one of my fellow Rxer's can point me in the right direction

Looking for stuff like;

Presidency
Electoral college
Control of the Senate
Specific Senate races
Control of the House

Like buying stocks after they've been tanked, it may be a great time to jump in

Probably get some hedge opportunities before it's over too

Buy low, sell high. I like it. Admittedly, it can get you dizzy looking at all the options right now. It's only June and I'm already sick of it.

Bovada has margin of victory on electoral votes, senate/house options, and winner by state, in addition to Presidental stuff.

Dimes has alot of those option.. the current electoral options are way out of whack imo.. Trump getting 14/1 with a margin of 100-149 electoral vote win..

Checked out the odds at Bovada, they have

Trump +100
Republican Senate -160
Republican House +250, I'm surprised this is not higher

What are their limits at Bovada? I'd have to log in and I can't log in this morning

As for predictit, what does Biden 54C and Trump 47C translate in to?

I'd have to reopen a 5dimes account, which I'll do if it's worth it

That's how much you can buy a share for. Share's are worth $1 if/when your position becomes reality. Well really like 97 cents I think after the commission they take. So if you bought 100 shares of Trump for $47 you would cash $97 if he wins. So like +106.

The coolest thing about it is you can sell before the event.

So if you bought 100 shares of Trump for $47 and the prices jumped to 60c Trump/40c Biden you could sell for $60.

Cool option for hedging a long shot if it becomes the favorite.

predictit is great. Lots of options. Often have low limits, but can come back every day and get more action, so might be able to get down as much you want between now and November. Could easily have six figures. Given the players involved, it's going to be very easy money. Even without the easy money from this presidential election, there have been some guys doing it as a full time job. Here's a good article on it (ignore the misleading headline): https://www.theringer.com/2018/3/21/17130490/predictit-politics-elections-gambling

Cool, thanks for the explanation. Think I might try this option for the max, which I think might be $ 875 on "any position"

Thanks, also helpful

I even learned something from the link about the process, even though I don't agree with the author's take on the issues :)

Curious why Trump is -110 but Republican is +104?

why bet -110 if u could get +104

Just in case one of these nominees don't get to finish line. Line is adjusted. Biden off the board improves chances I think the way this plays out

what I’m saying is that if u want to bet Trump. Why bet -110 when u could take the republican (Trump) at +104?

Yea. It does look like the better play. If you bet Trump , that bet is only in play if Biden is the nominee.. I guess for some , betting Trump against Biden might be the only selection you are interested in. Betting the Republican could get you the possibility of any other Dem replacement .

-110 is Trump vs Biden and only Trump vs Biden

+104 is any Republican vs any Democrat

I've been betting Trump since last primaries. Got some good bets even for him to be in office on 1/18 , 1/19 and 1/20.

Currently holding Trump at +335 since 5/17 , some 2/1 bets , and a few more close to current odds. Picked off a few of the Dimes props . like the odds with big electoral wins.
